Swayzush, I am, like, SOOOOOOOOOOOO familiar with that... phenomenon.

During all my long decades of an intense political and social activism I have experienced it - let's say, Thursday Afternoon at Central Rəĥovoth. Countless shoppers around, all peoplim getting ready to celebrate the end of the work-week, and I'm standing, with two other Vegans, at an information booth, trying to collect as many signatures as possible for this very cause.

A yākhné (israeli slang for lifeless old aunty - of the kind who's the worst nightmare, of all her "Why are you still unmarried???" single nieces) drags herself by.

"But but, What about the situation with Gaza? And with Lebanon?? When will there be Peace? That is what you should all be concerned about, not geese!"

Me: Cool!! Tomorrow I'm standing, right here at this very spot, to collect support for Peace. Come along!

Said yākhné just smiles dismissively and walks on.

Midday Friday comes. The place is teeming with peoplim, making their grocery shopping towards Šabbàth. Me, along with a few other Peace Activists, standing in support of opening Peace negotiations, at last, regarding Gaza and Lebanon.

A yākhné drags herself by, with all her groceries, on the way from the supermarket to the bus stop.

"But but, What about the banks' corrupt commisions? And the housing crisis??? Young people can't even afford the rent, let alone buying any apartment... That is what you should all be concerned about, not 'Peace' with 'A-rabs!!"

Me: Cool!! Monday at 4 pm we are protesting against the banks, right there at that corner. Come along!

Said yākhné just smiles dismissively and walks on.

Monday comes along...

Excluding a few people, who are just pathologically obsessed with One Single Issue, so terminally that their brain just cannot process anything else on this Planet (lest their single-track-mind shall explode), so they see the very fact, that ANYONE cares about ANYTHING else, other their own private pet-issue, as "offensive", the vast majority of those people shall never take part at ANY kind of Activity for ANYTHING, period.

And they truly do not want anybody else doing so, either.

All that "but care about humans" crap is especially annoying, when comes from people who have never done even one-tenth as much for other humans, as any of the Vegans protesting there personally has.

Oh, and, by the way: the remocrats and the depublicans are ALL precisely the very same crap.

They're all merely corrupt and servile servants of wall-street's rich enemies of the Working Class. I can assure You, for example, that that woman does not care about the economical situation of her voters... but solely about the condition of her own personal bank-account.

As they always do, all those bloody politicians.

And that's valid for every elected official on Planet Earth.

Which is the main reason why voting is pointless.

It Is Time to Say It Clearly (and I Do Apologise for Hurting Those of My Friends Who Do That)

PUBLIC SMOKING, SMOKING WHERE YOUR CANCER-CAUSING SMOKE ENTERS PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER  AGREED TO THAT, SHOULD AND MUST   BE BANNED WORLDWIDE. As causing lung-cancer to your non-smoking Friends, is NOT  a Friendly, nor a Decent thing to do. Is There Such a Thing as "100% Vegan"? Should We Strive to Reach It, At All?

A little over two weeks ago, I have - thus far - successfully returned to Veganism. I was Vegan from the 26th of May, 2015 until the 27th of december, 2023 = when, depending purely upon whichever items were available for me on the Breakfast at my beLoved "♥️Turist♥️" (as I had no money whatsoever beyond it, for anything), thus having absolutely no available source for Proteins and Vitamin D (at the ♥️Belarusian🇧🇾♥️ Winter...), I actually had no choice, but to go back to consuming dairy (mostly yellow Cheese) and eggs, simply in order to survive... so, in a heart breaking defeat, I had done so. Gott sei dank, I had the Vegetarianism I grew up on to fall back onto, so that I did not stoop down to consuming the flesh of any murdered Animals!! Ĥowever, falling back onto my childhood Vegetarianism, I had then did find it increasingly difficult to finally make the move back to Veganism again, once that horrible crisis has ended a week later, or when it has become possible for me ...
