My Comment to Today's Vid from Brett Cooper, "Private Equity Is Erasing The Cities We Love"

Well, Brett, сейчас You know how people from countless other places feel, when we receive all those starbuckses and mcdonaldses and shopping malls, that look precisely the same absolutely anywhere one goes, all important from america.

Gott sei Dank, at least in ❤️Babruysk❤️, ❤️Ohrid❤️ and Shkodra, that invasion of american sameness still is minimal - You won't see any "Starbucks" or "mcdonalds" in their centers, and here, in the Balkan, You always get the VERY Local experience, anywhere You go: 😍 Bureks, Bakllawas, loud Balkan Music... 😃

And, of course, while trains and walkability are both essential and Great!!, so is ALSO affordability, for BOTH residence and small businesses!! All stuff is important for a living and Healthy city-center, as are Libraries, Parks and large Cultural venues (Concert halls, Cinemas and Theatres, all of which appear to be breathing their last breath at the current era - have been dying for more than a decade now, and do truly need help and saving!!). The existence of Local Bookshops and Bar-Cafés, that are not part of any chain, is crucial for properly Healthy and vibrant city life.

And, one more thing - Brett, пожалуйста cut OFF that nasty racist talk against migration! Your Ancestors, mind You, were migrants as well - 600 years ago, the Cooper line was not inhabiting Tennessee, right?

We're all mixed and we're all migrants. And that "America" You're so desiring to maintain is, for the most part, the creation of migrants - from the Irish Isles, from italy, from France, from Spain, from the Jewish Shtéytl...

Without that migrants melting-pot, You would never have that "America" of yours to start with!!

And do not go praising those hungarians, who adore their pro-german ancestors, who gleefully sent 600,000 Jews to auschwitz. Please.

It Is Time to Say It Clearly (and I Do Apologise for Hurting Those of My Friends Who Do That)

PUBLIC SMOKING, SMOKING WHERE YOUR CANCER-CAUSING SMOKE ENTERS PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER  AGREED TO THAT, SHOULD AND MUST   BE BANNED WORLDWIDE. As causing lung-cancer to your non-smoking Friends, is NOT  a Friendly, nor a Decent thing to do. Thus, smoking in any place (a balcony, the street, gardens, anywhere in a bar/Café/Restaurant etc.), where the smoke might enter the lungs of ANYONE, other than the smokers themselves, should be regarded as a severe crime. Is There Such a Thing as "100% Vegan"? Should We Strive to Reach It, At All?

A little over two weeks ago, I have - thus far - successfully returned to Veganism. I was Vegan from the 26th of May, 2015 until the 27th of december, 2023 = when, depending purely upon whichever items were available for me on the Breakfast at my beLoved "♥️Turist♥️" (as I had no money whatsoever beyond it, for anything), thus having absolutely no available source for Proteins and Vitamin D (at the ♥️Belarusian🇧🇾♥️ Winter...), I actually had no choice, but to go back to consuming dairy (mostly yellow Cheese) and eggs, simply in order to survive... so, in a heart breaking defeat, I had done so. Gott sei dank, I had the Vegetarianism I grew up on to fall back onto, so that I did not stoop down to consuming the flesh of any murdered Animals!! Ĥowever, falling back onto my childhood Vegetarianism, I had then did find it increasingly difficult to finally make the move back to Veganism again, once that horrible crisis has ended a week later, or when it has become possible for me ...
